This local calculator uses the sample fleet’s base rates. It does not check availability, quote a real operator or collect payment. Use hypothetical dates and amounts only.

Read a complete fictional example
Seven days in Hybrid Hatchback No. 01 at the supplied default weekly-tier rate of $30 per day gives a $210 base subtotal. A hypothetical $20 one-time fee makes $230. An invented 8% tax estimate on that amount is $18.40, for an illustrative total of $248.40. Actual charges are unconfirmed; this is not a quote.
How the example is counted
Pickup and return are counted at the same time of day. Return is excluded: October 14 to October 15 is one day. The tool uses calendar dates in UTC for arithmetic so a daylight-saving clock change does not add or remove a rental day. Actual pickup times, late-return rules and location time zones must be agreed with a real operator.
The duration tier sets one daily base rate for the whole example: 1–6 days, 7–29 days, or 30–90 days. The optional tax estimate is applied to the base subtotal plus your entered one-time fee. This is a simplified calculation; actual taxes may apply to different amounts or include fixed charges.
What the result leaves open
Availability, driver eligibility, coverage, mileage, fuel, tolls, deposits, authorizations and cancellations are not determined. A zero in an optional field means no amount was entered, not that a real charge is zero. Read the rental price comparison guide before relying on any real quote.
